A personal note from Capt. Han:
Hi visitors. First off congratulations on your vacation to St John, this is a wonderful island, the best in the Caribbean, with spectacular beaches and abundant wildlife. These are the reasons I decided to live here. I have always enjoyed and studied the natural world. After running tours down here for the last nine years I think I have a good sense of what people want in a sailing tour and how to deliver it.
The last piece of the puzzle was the perfect boat, and we've found it! Fly Girl is a wide and open boat which is ideal for the Caribbean. No one goes on a sailing charter to sit below decks. It has 365 degree visibility for all our guests so we can fully appreciate wild islands, exotic birds, sea turtles or whatever else we might see.
I chose a catamaran because they are the best charter boat design. The two hulls and the bridge deck between makes for lots of flat open space to kick back on and enjoy the day. The boat also offers a wide, soft front trampoline which is great for napping, sunbathing or just lounging around while the ocean slips by underneath you. It is a very comfortable spot and we've had lots of folks just fall asleep up there.
But most catamarans are multi passenger vessels where you share your tour with 20 or even 40 other guests. My idea was a smaller charter cat for families, couples and friends to have a more intimate and personal adventure. When you come aboard my cat you are not another dumb tourist. I feel more like my guests are friends coming out for the day. It's an informal atmosphere where all your needs are met but the service is casual. I will play with your kids, take you snorkeling and show you my favorite coral reefs. Let's face it I have a great job, sailing boats, but my passion is having satisfied, happy guests.
I know for certain that my tours are people pleasers because guests come back year after year. I invite you to come sailing with us and become part of our extended family of sailing adventurers and nature lovers.
